It is likely that you need additional development packages. Considering the set that you're missing you probably only need to install something like "gtkmm-2.4-dev" or "gtkmm-2.4-devel".
It's not a bug, it's a very apt warning :)
Any chance of someone producing a F8 rpm?
The previous Fedora packager left the project, I'm unsure if someone from the Fedora project has decided to replace him. I hope so.
