Technically I am not the main author, but if they require a name be attached to it for contact purposes or whatever, I'm fine having my name listed. I believe Mental and Bulia prefer not having their real names published, and assume pseudonyms are inappropriate for citations.
You might look for other examples of open source software listed in the given journal to see if there are other schemes for doing citations.
If you need to attach the citation to a published paper, I've written a couple articles that were posted on OS News, and an interview on news.kde.org that you could link to, however neither are official publications so they may not count.
