Perhaps not of specific interest to the majority of inkscape users, but I was listening to a recent podcast (Floss Weekly - <a href="http://www.twit.tv/floss29">http://www.twit.tv/floss29</a>) and the interviewee described some experimental work ongoing with javascript and SVG support in the browser to do some neat things.
