Besides having high expectations of a work in progress you have not done anything wrong. Grab a nightly build of inkscape and in return for helping test things out and reporting bugs you will get to see those improvements in PDF even sooner.

I want to use inkscape convert svg file to eps file then include the eps file in latex file, I want make sure the font in the eps file is the same as the one used in the main text. Is there currently any walkaround?
