SVG can certainly xlink in another SVG file, I've done so with other software. (If I recall correctly Inkscape probably can render these.)
Hi,
I'm still using Inkscape 0.42+0.43pre1 (Oct 26 2005) with Windows Xp pro, and tried to link a Svg to another. I found the command to create a link in the right-click menu and then again right-click menu to set the link properties. I wrote in the href field the name of the second Svg file and then, again with the right-click menu I took the command "follow link" without any result . . . where's the problem ?
Is somewhere a tutorial on the link command possibilities of Inkscape (es. can I link also a txt file, an html, a doc or a powerpoint file ?)
(I hope my re-traslation from italian version would be right :-)
