Definitely, and I'll make sure they get added to the website this weekend. In addition to the web sites it might be interesting to have a screenshot showing it 'in progress' with inkscape and gimp open, so people will have a feel for how the tools are used together to produce something like this.
Okay, so can you give me more requirements?
I can send you three screenshots per site: 1) interface drawing in Inkscape 2) cutting with GIMP 3) the complete web site
Or should I also add the shots of my PHP/HTML files in KWrite? :-P
Just tell me what to shoot and you can count you have it in your mailbox ;-)
How about the complete web site for all three, plus one of interface drawing in Inkscape and one of cutting in GIMP. If you can do one screenshot of your favorite one of the sites with both Inkscape and GIMP, that'd be most concise, even if you have to overlap Gimp and Inkscape to do it.
Our current gallery is basically trying to tell the story, "Here are some of Inkscape's new features", and what I'm thinking is another gallery that tells the story, "Here are different types of activities people are using Inkscape for", that show Inkscape with another tool - like Inkscape+Gimp, Inkscape+Scribus, Inkscape+Nautilus(rsvg), etc.
Basically I think one thing people wonder when they first learn of Inkscape is, "Hmm, I wonder what types of things people use it for?" and "action poses" would address that. And showing the app that Inkscape feeds helps illustrate what other Open Source tools the user should employ to get their job done.
My dream idea would be for each of these "use cases" to be attached to a tutorial that gives an intro for how to use Inkscape in that fashion, but that's an idea for down the road.
Also, I wanted to tell that I'm writing a book on sound design and it includes dozens of graphics by Inkscape - when the book gets released, I'll let you know and I'll send you the shots of everything.
Cool!
