For school i had to change from Windows to Mac. One of the problems I run unto is that i can't copy paste for example text from a word document (cmd+v) to Inkscape (ctrl+v, X11 based). Can someone give me some advice. If you're Dutch, you can answer in our mother tongue :D.
I'm not Dutch so I'll stick to English (I could offer German though) ;-)
If it isn't a typo (copy in OS X is cmd+c, not cmd+v), then the answer to your question depends on the X11/XQuartz version you have installed (see menubar 'X11 > About X11') and the OS X version as well (first item in the menubar 'Apple menu > About this Mac').
Background:
On Leopard there have been many changes and improvements regarding the clipboard <> pasteboard exchange with recent X11 versions. The latest X11 version installed with the OS X 10.5.7 update though lacks the localization files for the preferences, making it impossible to change any settings of the clipboard syncing feature if the OS X UI language is not English.
If your school still employs OS X Tiger, I'm not sure (never used Tiger myself) if there already exists a clipboard exchange feature between OS X applications and software running on its default X11 server.
If you tell us your X11/XQuartz version I (hope I) can provide more detailed advice.
