[Inkscape-user] 0.43 unable to open existing SVG files

Hi all,

I have downloaded and installed yesterday Inkscape 0.43 (MacOS X version). It launches fine, but if I try to open a SVG file, either created with the former version of Inkscape or with Adobe Illustrator, I get an error message saying: "Failed to load the requested file /Users/hf/..." although the file preview is displayed properly in the open dialog.

I have then tried to create a new file with Inkscape 0.43, quit Inkscape, re-launch it, and tried to re-open the file Inkscape 0.43 had just created: same result, failed to load the file.

Fortunately I had kept my former version of Inkscape so I could revert to it.
