[Inkscape-user] Multi-object color adjustments

Maybe you can already do this in Inkscape, but it would be nice if there was some way to do broad color adjustments with multiple objects selected. This would not make sense on the RGB scale, but on the HSV scale this would be very useful. This would allow you to adjust the tint, brightness, and saturation on a group of objects.

For example, if I create a complex multi-object button, I want to quickly make different versions in various color shades without having to edit everything carefully by hand.

If there is already some way to do this please let me know.
