[Inkscape-user] Inkscape CVS package error: more information

OK, so I downlaoded the latest inkscape .cvs package and tried to install it. This is the message I get in the install window:

Installing executables... Installing manual pages for section 1... Installing icons... Installing menu items... Copying files to /usr/share Copying files to /usr/lib Error: Package Inkscape Vector Graphics Editor could not be installed

I don't know if that's particularly useful, but there it is.
