Hi all,
I have been trying to make a polor grid like picture, but it's a bit hard to do it by hand every time (circle->duplicate->make smaller->duplicate->make smaller->...)

As I understand correctly [1] Inkscape doesn't have a build-in function to accomplish this, so does anyone know a workaround to speed things up a bit?
Apart from the Tile Clones approach that someone else mentioned you could also set the inset/outset distance to the distance you want to have between the circles (in Inkscape preferences, under Steps) and then use: 1. Make circle 2. Duplicate 3. Outset 4. Duplicate 6. Outset 7. ... This is considerably faster than resizing the circles manually (both duplicate and outset have keyboard shortcuts) and more precise as well.
