I make more effort than most to trim long posts so I'll just assume that wasn't directed at me.

That actually helps some non-digest spam checking recipients.

I dont have the patience to figure out how to filter the spam from digests without blocking the whole digest (but presumably if you were willing to waste the processing power you could break up the MIME parts, filtert them and reconstitute the digest).

Changing the subject line occasionally so it matches the actual subject helps too.
