[Inkscape-user] Putting a bitmap into a shape?

Hi there!

Is it possible to put a bitmap into a shape? What I try to do is, that I have a text. I transformed it into a shape and now I want to fill it with a bitmap. Is this possible (Inkscape 0,44)?
