[Inkscape-user] Error with recompiled 44.1

When I downloaded and compiled 44.1 I get this error:

inkscape: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libpango-1.0.so.0: undefined symbol: g_intern_static_string

I use slackware 10.2. I have tried two different Gnome add-ons. Currently I am using Freerock (latest stable version).
