hi, thats not good at all
- on the sf-download page you search for the link "View older
releases from the inkscape package ยป" it should be this http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=93438&package_id=9...
- could you investigate how to reproduce this crashes?
In order to reproduce the crashes you will probably need my hardware... I got my video card replaced at work due to some problems with my companie's lack of support of ATI hardware on a product of ours which is still in early development. I got a "temporary" Nvidia card which is causing me a lot of grief (you won't believe the numer of times I've seen a BSOD lately) and no help from our system admins in getting my old card back.
Anyway don't sweat it, I just panicked because I had some deadline on an illustration (came out very nice, I just hit CTRL+s every minute) and I somehow haven't thought of looking for older installations in sourceforge. I still haven't tested the 44.0 installation on my computer, I think I'm going to push our system guys into getting my hardare in order instead.
So, thank you (and everybody else here) for your quick and helpful response, and of course to every developer here for Inkscape itself. Just to illustrate how much I've become dependent on it - even when it crashed every couple of minutes I still prefered to use it instead of Adobe Illustrator...
