Found something really cool! On a mac (at least on my 2007 model mac mini, anyway), the apple remote that comes with it can be used, in conjunction with a program called NeoRemote, (http://www.jfedor.org/neoremote/) ... to switch slides in jessyink. NeoRemote was intended to allow the apple remote to be used for slide transitions with NeoOffice presentations. (NeoOffice is a version of Open Office for the mac, but their presentations are kinda lame, no anti-aliasing) It remaps the remote buttons to emulate keyboard keys.
There are other such programs for the apple remote, but NeoRemote is free.
This works in Safari, Firefox, Opera, and Google Chrome. (As probably would be expected, but ya never know...)
