Hi Jon,
I’m a great inkscape fan, and 0.45 is wonderful .. but in 0.45 something basic got broken: boolean operations flip patterns vertically. (tracker no 1659445)
This could really put off new users as they wouldnt know to fall back to 0.44.
AIA if this is the wrong way of drawing this to your attention.

Hi Mark, sorry for the late reply. I'm forwarding this to the inkscape-user list for help and solutions. I don't think they are broken. Regardless, please download the latest bugfix release 0.45.1
Has anyone on the list had problems like this?
