Subject: [Inkscape-user] Grayscale
images
I was dinking around around with filters again (can't seem to
stop playing with them). By adding an
feColorMatrix filter and adjusting
the saturation only I was able to turn a color jpeg image into a
grayscale
image. That got me thinking...is this the best way to apply grayscale to a
picture? Seems
like I would want to do this with the Raster effects
instead but I do not see it at first glance.
Have any of you needed or
wanted to apply grayscale to something in Inkscape? How do you go about
it?
