Dear All
I have got a formula in SVG format, which I want to place over a colorful SVG figure. However, the formula has a white background and when I put it over the colorful figure, the white background is shown. Then, I thought that if I could transform the white background into a transparent one, the problem would be solved. Is that possible? How can I get a transparent background? From what you are saying I imagine the object is some text/curves (the
formula) on a white rectangle which are grouped together. If so you can remove the white rectangle in inkscape:
1. press n (node tool) 2. click on the white rectangle, it shoud get selected 3. press del
It is also possible to make the white rectangle transparent:
1. press n (node tool) 2. click on the white rectangle, it shoud get selected 3. press ctrl+shfit+f and play with the sliders for 'Fill' tab
