I have just formatted my computer and reloaded opensuse 10.2. I have everything put back together and that includes Inkscape v0.45-1 (inkscape-0.45.1-2.guru.suse102.rpm). However, I have run into a brick wall with the perspective effect. It seems a long time ago I had a similar problem but I cannot for the life of me figure out what I did to fix it. Not even sure if it's the same error.
I have attached a pic of the error that I am getting. I have python-numeric-24.2-36 and python-numpy-1.0.3.1-0.pm.1 installed. An 'rpm -q python' results with python-2.5-19.4 if that helps.
