Can you check the path your Inkscape is installed in and the path your user dir is in? Maybe paste them in here for us to check.

Ok, Inkscape is installed in C:\Steffen\programme\Inkscape\inkscape.exe

And the image is located in c:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\Manfred Glückselig\Eigene Dateien\

Could well be the 'ü'... ;-)
