Hi!
I'm experiencing reproducible crashes of both inkview and "inkscape -s" when going forth and back in a number of files.
"top" output shows that the process is eating more and more memory (also when displaying files that have been displayed before!); finally it crashes.
This is Inkscape 0.41 on NetBSD 2.0/i386.
Is this a known bug? I was unable to find it in the sf.net bug tracker.
Check the amount of memory and swap space you have available. It's possible that inkscape is trying to use more memory than you have available, and getting killed by the kernel.
