Hi,

I am new to Inkscape,  and following some nice tutorials on the web..

I am trying to so something basic  (I think)

and i can't figure out how to do it.

What I want is a square, and want it all merged as 1  image and  have the inside cut out / transparant.

I want to make all the seperate parts all into 1 images,  and the black part  I want that to be transparant.

Is it possible? 

If so how?
