I believe that just putting %APPDATA% into the path field of a file manager window will get you to the right folder for the current user.
Any chance we could get confirmation that this works even if AppData itself is hidden?
It appears to work on the two Windows boxes I have tested:
- Windows XP Pro with the "Application Data" directory hidden, but "show
hidden files and folders" enabled in Windows Explorer.
- Windows 8.1 Pro with the default settings - i.e. the AppData directory
hidden.
Tested it today and it also works on my Windows 10 Home and Windows 7 Professional.
