Comments to attach:
1. Draw a circle
2. Convert it to outlines (Ctrl+Shift+C)
3. Draw an angle line like this one: /\
4. Put this line on the outlined circle
5. Select both objects
6. Apply Divide (Ctrl+/) boolean action
7. There you have a sector. Mess with it ;)

I seem to have finally figured it out. My graphic isn't perfect,
but it is good enough for what I need. I had to cheat to get the
sector separators on some parts because I was using union by mistake
when I should have been using combine.
Thanks for the help.
I've attached my grahpic for what it is worth. The only thing
that would have been better is if I could have made the ring segments
the same size, they get smaller as you get closer to the middle because
I created my outside circle and sliced the segments, then cloned them
and scaled down to the middle. But it will do.
