Hi,
I just compared results of inkscape (0.43-4 Debian) with scribus (1.3.3-1) and found differences in Text kerning.
E.g. the word "Test" in Arial is rendered with kerning in inkscape (the e is slightly moved towards the T), while with inkscape (and rsvg) there is no kerning (Bounding boxes of T and e do not overlap).
Is this a general property of SVG images to not have kerning?
