This may not be directly related to the issue at hand, but for all the
Spanish speaking countries (latin america), there is an issue about the
paper size. In LatAm we use the US Letter paper size as default, and
(to my knowledge) there is no way to set this as the default (a control
for ths would be nice). The A4 size is simply not available, and even
when it is simple to set a different size, it would be best to set the
paper size accordingly to the system's locale. Evidently this is not
such an important issue with an application such as Inkscape, but some
users fid it rather annoying having to set the paper size with every
