[Inkscape-user] how to make inkscape precise

Dear all,

how can I make precise drawings in Inkscape?

I have done several drawings in Inkscape, this tool really is great, but I am not able to make a precise drawing with it! The grid is activated, but still the resulting lines are not precise on the grid. This error becomes strongest if I export the drawing to a PDF. If I then view the drawing with acrobat at different zoom factors, then I see clearly that all the lines have small shifts against each other.

This is really devastating. Is there a trick to make Inkscape precise??
