[Inkscape-user] Illustrator files.

I have a vector file that was originally made in Illustrator. I downloaded it as a zip file. When I unzipped it the file had an .eps suffix.

GV can view it.

Converted to pdf acrobat reader can view it.

Inkscape only gets a black background.

Is there a way to manipulate this image in inkscape?
