
Yeah, I'll do whatever I can. I haven't done any work with linux. Been meaning to install ubuntu one of these days but haven't had a reason. I was wondering if it was still a problem in linux as the wacom driver is different. Of course it may still be a problem, I don't know exactly how these things work. But installing linux just for inkscape isn't really a great incentive.

Well, the problem probably is in GTK+, not quite Inkscape itself. GTK
- is the widget toolkit that Inkscape and the gimp
are both built on top of.
I don't happen to know a work-around off-hand, but I do know this is something people would like to help fix. In fact, we were just discussing this last weekend at the Linux conference in Southern California.
The main problem is that none of the developers I know of have such hardware. However, if you are interested in working together some people should be able to come up with various things to try.
