No worries, I was just wondering about the old one. It is inactive so maybe some new blood could reactivate Inkscape topics on Linkedin, that would be very nice.

What sorts of topics do you expect to read there? Linkedin seems to be more business oriented. I'd love to contribute an article or two if there is enough interest.

I suppose you are right about that in the long run. I did a search on LinkedIn specifically for 'Inkscape' and it wasn't used, then I checked the Inkscape social network admins list, and nothing had been listed for LinkedIn, so I built the group, published the entry on the list, and advertised to the user base that it was in operation.

I have submitted a request to Join the 'Friends of Inkscape' LinkedIn group, so I can talk to that group's manager. If he agrees, I can merge my members to his group, and assign admin responsibility to him on the social networks list.

I apologize for the confusion.

Sincerely,

There already is a group on Linkedin, it's called Friends of Inkscape and has a lot of member already. Is there a need for a new one?
