[Inkscape-user] how do i clear the settings for a shape

I have added a star shape to my drawing and changed the number of nodes, size and rotation, to a point where it no longer looks like a star.

Now when ever I add a new star shape to my drawing, it remembers my previous edits. How do i clear this sticky setting and revert back to the default shape
