the fill is not 100% as, as said by someone before (sorry forgot who), it is a raster fill. I believe it&#39;s the rounded corvers that cause the problem<br>it may work better if you fill a rectangle with colour then place the ronded one over it and use path&gt;intersection.<br>

<br>But I would fill the rounded rectangle with your chosen colour by selecting the shape and choosing the stroke you want, then place a rectangle over it in your 2nd colour (or white) with no stroke using the same method as attached here<br>

I undid the Picasso fill and now it seems its saying the area isn&#39;t bounded. :|  I&#39;ve attached the file; Basically I&#39;d like to full the top and bottom parts of the rounded rectangle.  Those sections don&#39;t have any visible gaps, but Inkscape seems to disagree.<br>
