the fill is not 100% as, as said by someone before (sorry forgot who), it is a raster fill. I believe it's the rounded corvers that cause the problem
it may work better if you fill a rectangle with colour then place the ronded one over it and use path>intersection.

But I would fill the rounded rectangle with your chosen colour by selecting the shape and choosing the stroke you want, then place a rectangle over it in your 2nd colour (or white) with no stroke using the same method as attached here
