I reported this issue from a Window's install perspective
shortly after the release of 0.41. It does not occur with
0.39 or 0.40. Though assured that it was not a "problem,"
I admit to no understanding of the implications of the
response received. Either the error message should be
struck, explained coherently, or the underlying issue
resolved. I have re-downloaded, re-installed and etc. but
the issue persists and is disconcerting. Inkscape 0.41
runs, but one is left with the nagging feeling that it is not
running properly. ...RC
