[Inkscape-user] Continuing with svg on the web.

I know that Google and perhaps others try to analyze the text in PDF files for purposes of SEO. Does the same hold true for svg? Since the svg file is essentially plain text it seems to me that it would be easier for a web crawler to scan svg as compared to pdf.
