I have only recently come across Inkscape am very impressed by the software it is very natural and easy to use. I am using Inkscape 0.4 something I know this is still being developed but Inkscape 0.39 does not seem to work with the graphics tablet I am using. The only criticism I would have is with the file dialog that does not show the network directories in windows. In 0.39 the file dialog seems fine. I download the most up to date exe file but I still dont know how to get to the networked files.
I am not sure if this is a development request or a bug or I am simply not using the dialog correctly.
The file dialog is actually the standard GNOME file dialog. I've also noticed that it's quite different from what I expect from a file dialog. The best place to submit feedback about this is the GNOME/Gtk project, since then the improvements can be shared among all Gtk programs. :-)
However, definitely keep us in the loop. If the the GNOME project does not address the issues, perhaps someone would like to explore providing an override.
