[Inkscape-user] Misc Section (oversample bitmap and simplification threshold)

I am trying to make text not come out blurry and was wondering if someone could explain in the Misc section of inkscape preferences how the simplification threshold and oversample bitmaps may aid in reducing blurry images on export?
