Does not work.

I have opened the smiley svg, clicked on "Edit" -> "Select all in all layers",

then "Extension" -> "Color" -> "Negativ".

Color did not change.

Inkscape version: 0.48.4

Mark your objekts, use Extensions/Color/Negativ. It really change the color, cut it into stone.
