The attachment is converted from corel ps with distiller. Simple test only.
Fonts remains fonts, gradient is pseudo, but is ok.

I'm pretty sure that PostScript does not support an alpha channel (i.e. transparency), at least on most devices. Likewise for gradients.
So the short answer is, no. Sorry.
OpenOffice draw is able to generate both of them, as any of vector applicatons, as I know.
The test I just did (using oodraw) indicates that this is done by rasterizing the image -- the scalability is lost. That is more like exporting to PNG.
