Finally I found the targeted revision, it's rev #20436:

* fix bug in livarot where open paths are rendered as closed path when start == end point. now svg testsuite paths-data-10-t.svg is rendered correctly

Now I'm trying to debug inskcape with eclipse by following the eclipse tutorial.
But I think you are right as my crash is not hidden, it is reproducible witout being in gdb.

It seems I made a mistake in updating from some version to 20437, so I'm
not so sure anymore that the bug is caused by 20438. I'm sorry.
