I've used a bit of both apps. I really like synfig. Robert has given the open source community a massive gift. There is not as much develop on it as I would've first thought. If I knew anything about programming (and I intend to learn as soon as I get home to Aust) I would jump right in and help the guys....and inkscape to.

I reakon if there were some full fledged forums for synfig, there would be MUCH more interest and possibly more develpment too. It's a real bitch to compile aswell..

As far as Ktoon is concerned, I found it similar to Toonboom, which I used for a bit back in my windows days. Not quite as advanced and documentation was very rare.

Anyway that's my two bob..
