[Inkscape-user] CPU usage.

Is it me or the Fedora version of Inkscape 0.44 uses more CPU now than 0.43 did? It may have been the case with the other versions I've tried, but it certainly is quite noticeable since I installed the Fedora packaged version. Anyone else noticed this? By the way I'm on FC5 x86_64, and a friend of mine also noticed this on i386.
