Use 'join selected end nodes' with the 'edit path nodes' selector ( F2). Sweep over the whole piece and click the icon for 'join selected end nodes', all done. Good luck Dan On Jul 24, 2006, at 11:09 AM, Brendan Quigley wrote:
Hi - first time poster here.
I'm relatively new to SVG and I'm having a little trouble. :)
I'm multi-selecting and copying paths from the world map I've downloaded from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:BlankMap- World.svg . Each path seems to be separate, hence the multi- select. Then I paste the selected paths (say for Spain) and try to combine them. They appear to be combined, but I'm unable to get a proper interior fill on the resulting object. That is it seems the fill is still acting on individual paths. I've tried joining selected segments, grouping, everything I can think of, but to no avail. If you look at the small attached example, you'll see what I mean! I'm sure from that you'll see what I'm trying to do. Maybe it's something simple, but I'm baffled.
Any help would be gratefully received. Cheers, Brendan Quigley
