Yes, please report the bug! (but check the bug-tracker first to see if there is already a report for it)
I think in general: when you find a bug, first try with the latest stable release before you file a report, because it might already be fixed. It would be even better to try with the latest development build; again because it might already be fixed. Please check the bugtracker aswell before reporting the bug, to prevent duplicate bug reports.

Should I file bug reports for crashes in development versions? The few latest development versions I downloaded all crash on my computer (Windows XP) when I load a file with linked or embedded images. I'm just not sure whether it's a known bug or not.
