I followed the official MacPort's website and did the following:

1. removed ALL the MacPorts packages using

sudo port -fp uninstall installed

2. and next I installed Inkscape using MacPorts through Terminal:

sudo port install inkscape +quartz

Hopefully it'll work!

I tried the following (in the terminal):

sudo -v selfupdate
sudo port upgrade outdated

And it's stuck in the line:

Or even better: how can I update Inkscape 0.91 + XQuartz on Mac to 0.92?

I followed the instructions in the download page to install 0.91 few months ago and it went fine!

But I have no idea on how to uninstall 0.91 to install 0.92.. but I'm very happy we have it available in the MacPorts... seems like an elegant, and yet simple, solution.

Sorry for the silly question.
