Further update, turns out the ImageMagick compile did install libMagick++.so.10. So...why can't Inkscape see it? What am I doing wrong?

Keep running into dependency problems. Whereinheck do I get libMagick++.so.9?
I thought maybe it was part of ImageMagick, so I downloaded and Compiled it (I am on Slackware 12.0), but no dice. If sombody could point me to the source code or a slackware package, I'd appreciate it.
