Guys,

I have two questions that bothers me whenever I'm using Inkscape with bitmap files:

1. Whenever I save Inkscape svg files, the bitmap images ( jpg and png types) are not attached to the said Inkscape svg file. So whenever I move the file to another computer, I still have to bring the bitmap files and create a separate subdirectory. Is there a way to make the bitmap files attached to the Inkscape svg files?

2. I work with maps whenever I'm using Inkscape. Is there a way to provide a proper scaling of the objects?

My third question is there anyway to import AutoCAD files (dwg) to Inkscape?
