hi,<br>i&#39;ve been following the thread about inkscape running slow.&nbsp; there was something that the poster said that triggered this email.&nbsp; it had to do with a dialog box going blank.<br><br>that&#39;s the problem i have with the external devices.&nbsp; first inkscape said there was no external devices.&nbsp; i reset the external devices to normal, reset the settings on my tablet and rebooted the machine (w2kSP4,786mb ram,pIII 450mhz processor - and yes it runs the program ;^) - with a serial wacom gd (#1) tablet).&nbsp; when i opened the external device dialog box the wacom puck shows the settings, but when i try to look at the stylus and eraser settings, the box settings disappear and it seems that the function locks up except for being able to exit.&nbsp; i don&#39;t remember this being a problem in
