I have fixed this blur area cropping in SVN trunk and 0.45 branch. Did you try it out yet?
Not yet, but I will definitely make a series of test on older problematic (for earlier 0.45 devel builds) files to see the difference and report if I find something. Thanks!

Thanks, committed to 0.45 branch. The font is beautiful, but it produces A LOT of nodes when converted to path. I simplified both texts slightly which didn't change their shape but resulted in a 1/3 smaller SVG file.
About the "cutted" blur, well there is unfortunately nothing I can do about as it seems to be the behaviour of Inkscape...
