Hello, <br />currently i'am working on an relativly complex<br />drawing.
its a cinema seatplan.with all those detailed seats inkscape is<br
/>renders really slow and freezes a lot of times.<br />the outlinemode
is<br />working well but it would be nice if i could turn it on for only
one or<br />more specific layers. <br />this is a feature-request.. some
others ideas<br />to speed up inkscape? its fine for simple graphics but
gives a<br />slow-motion-feeling at bigger jobs. i've read some
discussions about<br />multicore-support and i would also appreciate that.
normally i'm a<br />software-developer so my point of view is perhaps a
little bit different<br />from that one a normal user has. i know that
this isn't a trivial thing<br />but imho it has to be done to moving on to
the magic you can do with<br />adobe's illustrator or the freehand-thing.
i'm not shure but i think that<br />illustrator cannot do that too. whats
about rendering with the gpu? a<br />pluginable renderingsystem to be
